Mr colin heng is currently in turbo mugging mode with tuition on 5 different subjects preparing for his end of yr exams,

melissa firing up for her major exams 'O levels',

nana and charmaine are also workin pretty hard for their promo exams which are rd the corner haha gettin white hair soon!!!

Master Goh is currently enjoying life and slacking ard waiting to serve his national service in the police force!!

As for me, I've juz finished my national service and getttin a temp job in a bank in the administrative sector while waiting for my approval of my admission into SIM next jan.

Yup that's the situation ard here at the moment lol the 2 older boys are slacking and the 4 younger ones are becoming bookworms lol will update again if there are any other changes no worries.

Hey guys!

This blog is soo dead right now! lol updates on anything in your life [or anyone else's life] would be much appreciated! :D

I'll start, just finished my school exams, did alright in them, but glad they weren't the final exams because I didn't study very much and mum got a bit angry! Haha but I will definitely be studying for the finals which are in October and November. When are you guy's final exams? And we get study leave for about a month, but then we have to go back to school for 2 weeks after that because we have to be in school for a certain number of days in the year, which is soo stupid! But we hopefully finish before December so we still get a long holiday!

Can't wait for summer, it's been the wettest winter in New Zealand for decades. Like every weeked for two months it'd rain, so horrible! Can't say I'm missing the humidness of Singapore though :P Mum and dad are letting me get a job at the supermarket [my dream job! hahah i like scanning things] this summer to earn myself a little bit of cash :)

Hope to hear back from ALL of you soon! I'm starting to think that no one checks this site anymore haha

South Island Trip! [10/07/08 - 16/07/08]

Chelsea and Daryl down South, our trip and what we got up to!

DAY ONE
We left last Thursday, got on a plane to Christchurch at 6am! Kind of cold, as you can see with our scarves but the temperature down in Queenstown wasn't as cold as I expected. The flight was nice and short, about one and a half hours, no meals though! But we did get a muffin! :)


Arrived at Christchurch, found out we had a new rental car that had only like 180 km on the odometer and when we returned it, it had way over 1000! A lot of driving involved as it was a 5 hour drive from Christchurch to Queenstown. Awesome scenic drive though! Stopped at a gorgeous lake which had a church beside it, but weren't allowed to take pictures in it.


DAY TWO
Went up to Cardrona ski field, took us about an hour to get there! The drive was really nice though because we went through like a billion mountain ranges and the ski field was awesome! The weather was quite good too, though it got windy near the end of the day. The chairlifts even had footrests for your skis!


And unlike when Colin, Melissa and Na Na came to NZ, there was actually tonnes of snow on the mountain! Hopefully, when you guys next come during winter, we can go to the mountain to ski! :) Anyways, came home that night and what better way to finish the day with a game of MINI monopoly!


DAY THREE

Decided to take a break from skiing and took a drive early in the morning to Arrowtown, where there was snow/ice at this place where Chinese people came to mine gold back in the early 1990's. And we also found a snowman that someone else made, but we put the facial features on it so we called it our own! haha.


Came back to Queenstown and played a round of mini golf! The best mini golf you will ever play! There were so many tunnels and chairlifts and gondolas that carried your golf ball up! And to top it off, we got a free drink at the end and lollipops too! Sadly, I came last :( hahah but who was counting anyways!


DAY FOUR
Yet another day of skiing, this time at Coronet Peak, and only 15 mins drive from where we were staying. These chairlifts could take 6 people with leg rests too! haha and one of the chairlifts broke so they opened the ski field till 5pm. I think Daryl quite liked this ski field too. Another awesome day for skiing!


DAY FIVE
Time for our 5 hour drive back to Christchurch, where we stopped at a salmon farm on the way, fed the fish and mum bought some sashimi for lunch. Arrived in Christchurch that afternoon and took a walk around the town, which was quite big. We were all tired that night, but I didn't have a very good sleep, having to share a queen bed with Daryl!


DAY SIX
Woke up to have a buffet breakfast, then bought tickets for the Christchurch tram and gondola. The tram track was great! Lots of stops, but unfortunately we didn't take any photos of the tram. We got off near the art centre. We were supposed to go for a guided tour but the tour guide talked so damn soft! haha and we could not appreciate art as much as some people do so off to the museum we went! Daryl had a great time on his giant bicycle! Also took a walk to the botanical gardens and then headed back to the tram for our next stop.This was the gondola, amazing view from the gondola and up at the lookout points! We also went on this ride which you sat in and it took you through this tunnel and it told you all about a peninsula near Christchurch.


Next thing we know, we're at the airport terminal eating our sushi haha, not even sure if you can eat in those terminals! Our plane also got delayed more than half an hour, so touched down in Auckland around 9ish. A lot warmer up in Auckland, and all was left was to unpack. But we had an awesome time! Especially since it was Daryl and I's first time down in the South Island.

so its 5:15am on sat morn n my bday is over!! still wide awake n cant go 2 slp haha. first up tell all ur parents n everyone who wished me happy birthday thanks from me, n i will get bac 2 them on that geni tree thin once i find out hw 2 actually work it =D

so my bday turned out quite gud. went for a japanese lunch wit mum n dad, then saw kung fu panda wit sum friends. dinner at my place wit friends at nite, was gud. took out the champagne n sum starter drinks, to get us ready for town (clubbing).

jus b4 midnite ish we went into town n went to quite a few clubs. First club, the guy looked at my id, looked at his watch and nodded n smiled lol (becoz i was JUST legal to get into the club). the funniest was when the bouncer almost didnt let us into the club becoz he sed thr were 2 many guys inside, n he thought the two girls wit us were not actually wit us. once he realized we had come wit girls he didnt even bother checkin id.

visited lots of clubs, danced lots, gud music. awesome strobe lights. shots r quite expensive lol!!

anywho ill post sum photos 2mro of the dinner n mayb sum in town. hope u guys r all gettin bac 2 skool n had a gud holiday (i thought u guys only start the holiday nw lol)

Safety timeout

Hey ppl, haha well been pretty busy lately with reviews of training directives and stuff coz recently 2 army personnel aged below 20 have collapsed and died for no apparent reason therefore the whole army in singapore is having a timeout on all training and sports activities to review the directives and to close up any loop holes. The commanders are passing orders that all superiors must brief their men on all their job scope n the safety aspects. Now I have to redo the whole damn On-job-training file for lifeguards which have not been touched for like 10 over yrs. That's abt all for me and as for the trip we have to discuss abt it 1st haha anyway wish every1 luck in whatever u are doing ppl All Da Best!!!!

I've had school exams about 3 weeks ago now. They were alright, didn't fail any thankfully (colin! hope your studying hard). And holidays are in 4 weeks, this term has gone so fast! this whole year in fact.

We're going down to the South Island this holidays, so it should be extra fun! Should have lots of snow hopefully! And me and Daryl have never been to the South Island, so I'm especially excited.

You guys still keen on a trip to NZ at the end of the year? Ask your parents now so they can book tickets! haha

haha so here's the plan guys! i've even discussed this with my mother haha.

you guys should come to nz at the end of this year and we can accommodate everyone because we can all camp out in our back yard! and youu can all stay for like a month coz you'll have no school right? and you're parents can come if they want but they don't have to if they can't take enough leave or whatever.

long time no post

hey guys, well sumfin is screwed up with the blog coz i usually get emails when new posts come up but i havnt, plus ive been real busy which is why i havnt been on.

anywho, time for an update.

its been wot, 2-3 wks since i posted? uni has started, pretty different lifestyle 2 skool eh. bout 700 ppl in my lectures n 1 hr on the bus to get to uni n 1 hr 2 get bac. but its much better than skool. law is really interestin, but very competitive. commerce is not as competitive which is a relief.

im still workin at 'Hannahs' (shoe shop) during uni, but my hrs r reduced. jus fri nites n sundays. been there about 6 weeks nw n its real gud. still enjoyin it. already started earnin commission on my sales which is gud, becoz its additional money on top of my hourly rate.

so basically time to hang out wit friends is spare time in uni lol (like between lectures), because weekdays there is work 2 do (especialy law, where u read at least 10 pages to prepare for each lecture, and then after the lecture u reread the 10 pages u jus read lol). n sat is sorta catch up weeks work, n i work sundays, so yea pretty busy eh.

hello. guys this is like my second time posting on this blog only haha.for this march holiday i am goin through hell man, thats coz i failed 3 subjects during the common test. the subjects are CHINESE(as usual), social studies and physics. Lols! yesterday i just had 3 tuitions IN A DAY! 1 in the morning, 1 in afternoon and 1 in the night. damn sian sia. Omg those photos are like so old lar.

Slack Week!!!!!

heys! hows everyone being doing lately????have been slacking throughout the whole week!!! i even skipped my lecture today! hahas...
oh wells let me see.... errm... mon i went gym with my friends in the morning then met melvin and charmaine. After lunch me and melvin when to get his soccer boots and watch 'jumper' it kinda sucked actually...the ending was s0 stupid!!!

then on tue i didnt do much...stayed at home the whole day until at night...where i met up with my church youth group formator to discuss abt some admin matters at Thai Express. the food there is getting from bad to worst! seriously!

On Wed i met up with my friends and went for a 8KM run!!! all the way from bishan till Saint Andrew's Junior College. I ALMOST FAINTED ON THE RETURN JOURNEY! my stamina is like shit man! AND in the afternoon while i was slping the wind was so strong tat it blew my guitar down and it broke!

And ytd, went queensway to get my friend's present (MANU jersery), then went vivo for
lunch @ WHITE DOGS CAFE.. hahas... well tats what happened during my whole week..i would say that the week was kinda well spent hur...would you agree with me??? hahas...

chelsea's first day at school

well, i had my first day of school today! was pretty alright actually. got waay excited right before we got to school haha but it was guud seeing everyone again. i woke up at 7.30 when we had to be there at nine thirty! so i was sooo sleepy when my teacher was talking to us about fundraising and timetables and blah blah. but no tests today so i couldnt fail *cough* timmy hahaa. my form teacher is okae, he's funny (at times) but quite grumpy! so this year should be fun haha. but as for my subject teachers, i dont even know half of them! and for my thursday, iv got two study periods so iv only got 3 classes that day.. so aweeesome! can't wait for school on monday. i'v already spent a few hours last year covering my books so they look SUPER kewl! haha

so anyways how's all youur school (and army and uni) going? keep me updated on youur school lives (and shamus na na) haha if she ever does join this blog. ta ta for now
